About the Event
Baby yoga encourages bonding between you and your little one, and is a safe and fun activity you can enjoy together. Yoga helps babies develop motor and sensory skills, aids digestion, and promotes better sleep. Practising yoga post-natally helps you gently strengthen and stretch your body, calm your mind and reduce stress. It's perfect for parents looking to ease back into exercise, as well as to connect with other new parents.
Variations will be provided for mamas with different experience levels, and special instructions will be given for mamas with conditions such as diastasis recti and pelvic floor weakness. Please make sure that you are cleared to exercise by your medical provider before attending the class.
This 1-hour session is designed for mom and baby to practise together - however, if you prefer to come on your own, that's fine too! The class is suitable for babies aged 6 weeks to 1 year old. Please bring a towel or blanket to place baby on (mats are provided). Once registered, you will receive an email detailing what you need to bring to the class.
